About

Kim Adkins is a young mother with a passion for creating. She works both as an artist with Kims' Glass Painting and starting up Iron Umbrella Publishing (IUP) as her own indie publishing company. She has two main world lines, each featuring differing topics. When she's not working on making something, she can be found in traveling the country with her family for Society of the Middle Ages and Living History events. She is hoping soon to be able to meet with readers at conventions and other public outings.

The World of Nungai is Kim's longest running series, and the oldest. Recently she has decided to pull down all previous copies off Amazon where she had been selling in favor of reformatting the stories and publishing in a more cohesive manner under the IUP banner. Readers will be able to explore the world of Nungai in a manner similar to that of the Forgotten Realms, as a series of stories revolving multiple characters that takes place over the entirety of the life of the universe. Ultimately, the stories in Nungai take place in the P.O.V. of the demi-goddess of Time as she sits to record the Universe before its' ultimate demise. The point of this series is to show how the perception of history can change through time, while also giving a place for both sci-fi and fantasy writers to both write fanfiction and certified books within.

She will be working with a man known simply as "The Writer" on various aspects of the world.

While the world of Stan Bubbles is unnamed, the trilogy takes place on the continent of Asura. There will be more books on the continent and the world than the Stan Bubbles trilogy, each tackling difficult topics such as how people react to sudden changes in life, the stages of grief, and other topics of mental health. Characters in this world will face these challenges and be faced with choices in how to work with what's going on in their life. Their stories will follow their choices, whether for good or evil, and the impact they have on others around them.
