I’ll post pictures below, but it’s been one heck of a summer. I finally have reached my goal of working with Historical Glassworks on their hand-blown glass, painting beautiful and historical items. We have also worked hard and achieved another 7 year goal of attending Days of Knights! It felt so amazing to be able to spend a weekend with people we have been looking up to, call friends, and who have been studying history at a level that we had been working hard to obtain. My hip still hurts from the amount of laughter and smiles that passed over the days there.
One of the biggest things that I look forward to working on is this book. I call it “The Journal of Historical Painted Glass” and it will be a handwritten account of my studies through historical painted glass, starting with the Venetian designs that first caught my attention and going to the Roman pieces I’ve more recently completed. Then I’ll be adding the Luck of Edenhall and other pieces I study and work with. I will post pages both here at every 5, and as solos on my Ko-fi.
